The National Association of Educational Buyers, New England (NAEB/NE), established in 1921, is a specialized organization consisting of Higher Education procurement professionals. NAEB/NE is dedicated to providing professional development and networking opportunities to its membership which consists of over 325 individuals representing over 125 colleges and universities across New England.
Each year along with other professional development seminars, NAEB/NE runs a fall conference which is held every year in October. The conference consists of a vendor show representing over 60 vendors with seminars taught by expert speakers from New England and across the country.
The organization is run by a rotating, volunteer board consisting of professionals from various member institutions. NAEB/NE is the regional organization of the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP).
Our Mission
The mission of the National Association of Educational Buyers is to advocate the development, exchange and practice of effective and ethical procurement principles and techniques within higher education and associated communities, through continuing education and networking. The Northeast Region of the NAEB represents institutions in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Based on input from regional members, the Board enacts programs, develops professional development programs, and supports regional efforts related to educational procurement, contract management, and issues of concerns to its members.
