There are many different ways you can contribute as a member:
- Become part of the Board
- Volunteer during conferences and forums by:
- Moderating sessions
- Give a presentation on procurement strategies and best practices
- Be a part of the Fall Conference Committee
- Participate as part of a professional or development committee
- Enlist your other talents and skills by providing:
- Technology related website enhancements & consulting
- Graphic designs for logos or website stock images
- Amateur photography at events
- D.J., stand-up comic, music or other entertainment at events
- Copywriter for promotional and conference related texts and/or journal writing for website articles
Volunteering is an excellent tool to network with peers and develop or enhance your current skills as a procurement professional.
